ToHealth provides a comprehensive travel health service. We specialise in providing support to organisations helping them support their employees when they are travelling on assignment overseas. Every patient has a risk assessment performed prior to administering any vaccinations or performing tests.
The Travel Health Nurses at Waterloo Health Clinic have been specifically trained in Travel Health and are experts in delivering this service. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are continually updating their practice and knowledge to ensure they are able to meet the needs of our customers.
If you are planning to travel – particularly to tropical areas, please book a consultation well in advance as some vaccinations cannot be given together or need more than 1 dose to be effective. We would suggest an initial appointment 12 weeks before you plan to travel.
Please note that Waterloo Health Clinic is a CQC registered provider and does provide travel advice or vaccinations to the general public.
Travel Risk Assessment
Taking a detailed account of our clients’ planned trips means potential risk can be highlighted. Waterloo Health Clinic uses the daily-updated TRAVAX system to keep pace with new and emerging risks so vaccine programmes are solid and dependable.
We provide travel health information sheets to support what has been discussed and provide advice on how best to avoid illness and infection during travel.
Try to plan your immunisations at least three months in advance.
